First 30 daysWhat should I do before upgrading Odoo?
+
List every installed module and integration, uninstall what nobody uses, back up and test-restore your database, record baseline figures (trial balance, stock valuation, open receivables and payables), and port custom modules for every version you cross.
How do I test an Odoo upgrade?
+
Upgrade a neutralised copy of production, never the live database. Check every module installs, compare your financial baseline, run key business flows end to end, test integrations and printed documents, and test access rights role by role.
What happens on Odoo upgrade go-live day?
+
Announce downtime, stop scheduled actions and integrations, take a final backup, run the upgrade on fresh production data, re-check the numbers, then re-enable integrations one by one with the old database kept as a fallback.
Find out exactly what your Odoo upgrade involves
Run a read-only scan of your database. You get a module-by-module risk report, a timeline, a downtime estimate and a quote based on your complexity. No obligation.
