What determines the cost of an Odoo upgrade?

Custom modules

The biggest factor: how many addons you have, how large they are, and how deeply they override core Odoo.

Number of version hops

Odoo 19 → 20 is one hop; Odoo 15 → 20 is five, crossing older framework changes.

Database and filestore size

Larger data means longer runs, more validation and a longer cut-over window.

Integrations

Payment, shipping, eCommerce, banking and EDI connectors each need re-testing on the new version.

FAQ

Pricing FAQ

Can't find your answer? Ask an upgrade engineer.

How much does an Odoo upgrade cost?

+

It depends on complexity, so we quote every project individually after a free assessment. A standard setup with few custom modules is a small job; a heavily customised database with many integrations is a project. The assessment measures this and turns it into a clear quote before you commit.

Why don’t you publish prices?

+

Two Odoo 17 databases can differ tenfold in effort. Publishing a single price would mean either overcharging simple upgrades or under-scoping complex ones.

Is the assessment really free?

+

Yes. It is a read-only scan plus a review by an upgrade engineer, with no obligation to proceed.

Do I pay for the Odoo Enterprise licence separately?

+

Yes. Odoo Enterprise subscriptions are billed by Odoo S.A. or your Odoo partner. Our quote covers the upgrade work only.
