Odoo Community
Upgrade Odoo Community without an Enterprise contract
The official Odoo upgrade service only accepts Enterprise databases. TechUltra Upgrades upgrades Community too: every hop, your OCA and custom modules, and proof that your numbers still match.

Your options
Three ways to upgrade Odoo Community
Official Odoo upgrade
Requires an Odoo Enterprise subscription. Community databases are not accepted.
OpenUpgrade (OCA), DIY
Free, open-source scripts maintained by the community. You run each hop yourself, fill module gaps and port your own custom code.
TechUltra Upgrades
We run every hop, port custom, OCA and App Store modules, check your financials and hand you a tested system.
Every hop, automated
Odoo 16, 17, 18 and 19 to Odoo 20 in one project, with a checkpoint after each version.
OCA and custom modules
Ported to the target version and delivered as a reviewable pull request.
Numbers that match
Trial balance, stock valuation and receivables/payables reconciled against your source database.
Can Odoo Community be upgraded with the official Odoo upgrade service?
+
No. The official upgrade platform is for Odoo Enterprise subscriptions. Community users either run OpenUpgrade themselves or use a partner such as TechUltra Upgrades.
Do I have to move to Enterprise to upgrade?
+
No. We upgrade Community to Community. If you want Enterprise features, we can also move you from Community to Enterprise as part of the same project.
What about OCA modules?
+
We check each OCA module for a target-version release. Where none exists yet, we port it, the same way we port your own custom modules.
Can the upgrade run on my own server?
+
Yes. TechUltra Upgrades can run privately on your infrastructure through Docker or SSH, so your data never leaves your servers.
Get your Community upgrade plan
Run a read-only scan of your database. You get a module-by-module risk report, a timeline, a downtime estimate and a quote based on your complexity. No obligation.
